1 Scope: This standard specifies the chemical analysis methods for refractory materials and ceramics composed of oxides, which are prepared by the method of molten glass sheets and measured by X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF). This standard is applicable to the material types listed in Chapter 3, and other types of refractory materials can be referred to for use. Note 1. When the content of certain elements in the sample exceeds a certain amount, such as tin, copper, zinc, and chromium, it will be difficult to melt. In this case, refer to the corresponding literature. Note 2. For components with a mass fraction greater than 99% (dry basis), if all the existing "content" and "ignition reduction" have been determined and obtained using the subtraction method, these values can also be verified through direct measurement. 2 Normative References The following documents are essential for the application of this document.
