This standard specifies the experimental principle for determining the evaporation residue of benzene products, sample selection, reagents, instruments, test steps, result calculation, and precision. This standard is applicable to the determination of residual evaporation of coking benzene, coking toluene, and coking xylene. Inject the residual solution into a constant weight aluminum dish, heat and evaporate it to dryness in an air stream, and determine the weight gain of the aluminum dish. This weight gain is the Muffa residue of the sample. Unless otherwise specified in reagent and material analysis, Use only approved analytical reagents and distilled water or water of equivalent purity. 4.1 Propylene resistance: GB/T 686 analytical reagent. 4.2 Air: Free from dust particles and oil mist. 5 Instruments and Equipment 5.1- Aluminum Dishes: Flat bottomed, with an outer diameter of 80 mm~100 mm, a height of 25 mm~30 mm, and a weight of approximately 2 g. 5.2 Electric constant temperature drying oven: capable of maintaining a temperature of 105C ± 3 ℃. 5.3 Analytical balance: sensitivity 0.0001 g. 5.4 Distillation instrument: in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3146. 5.5 Measurement Simplified: A graduated measurement of 100 mL. 5.6 Sealing the evaporator: It is composed of an evaporation cover and an evaporation chassis, and the cover is connected to the bottom with screws, ensuring no air leakage after tightening. The evaporation cover is made of organic glass or other transparent materials, and the upper parts of both sides of the evaporation cover are equipped with intake pipes and outlet pipes at opposite positions. The evaporator chassis is made of copper plate, and there are holes around the plate to connect and seal it with the evaporator cover using bolts.
