Elevator GB 25194-2010 Safety Code for the Manufacturing and Installation of Service Elevators

Scope 1.1 This standard specifies the safety guidelines to be followed for the manufacturing and installation of permanently installed new electric driven traction or forced service elevators and hydraulic service elevators. The utility elevator is a fixed lifting device that serves designated floors. It has a lift car, and the size and structural type of the car do not allow personnel to enter. The lift car is suspended or supported by a steel wire rope or chain or a plunger, and is driven by electricity or hydraulic pressure to run on a rigid guide rail with a tilt of no more than 15 ° from the plumb line. This standard is applicable to miscellaneous elevators with a rated load capacity of no more than 300 kg and not allowing the transportation of personnel. 1.2 In addition to the provisions of this standard, supplementary requirements should be considered in special circumstances (such as potential explosive gases, extreme weather, earthquakes, transportation of dangerous goods, etc.). 1.3 This standard does not apply to: a) miscellaneous elevators other than those driven in 1.1; b) miscellaneous elevators installed before the implementation of this standard and that have undergone significant modifications (see Appendix E); c) Lifting equipment, such as chain bucket elevators, mining elevators, stage elevators, equipment with automatic lifting cages, construction elevators, marine elevators, offshore mining or drilling platforms, equipment for construction and maintenance; d debris elevators with a tilt of more than 15 ° between the guide rail and the plumb line; e) safety during transportation, installation, maintenance, and dismantling of debris elevators; f glass is used for shaft walls, cars, and landing doors (including windows). However, the above equipment can be executed according to this standard. This standard does not address noise and vibration issues as they are not related to the safe use of utility elevators. This standard does not address the spread of fires. 1.4 As personnel are not allowed to enter the car, the size of the car should not exceed: a) the area of the car bottom is 1.0 m2 '; b) Car depth of 1.0 m; c) The lift car height is 1.20 meters. If the car is composed of several fixed intervals, and each interval meets the above requirements, the total height of the car is allowed to be greater than 1.20 meters. Especially, as a lifting device for transporting goods, if its car size exceeds any of the above parameters, it does not belong to the category of miscellaneous elevators. 1.5 This standard is applicable to service elevators with a rated speed not exceeding 1.0 m/s.
