What is the Taiwan BSMI certification? The Taiwan BSMI certification "Inspection Standard for Electrical Safety Regulations of Information Goods" CNS14336-1 (1999 version) has been implemented since January 1, 2012, while the previous version of Taiwan BSMI certification CNS 14336 (2005 version) is no longer applicable on the same day. The certificate is valid for three years and can be extended once. The mandatory execution date of the BSMI certification compliance statement is January 18, 2002. Applicable products: 19 types of information technology equipment components. Applicable standard: CNS13438 (ONLY EMC).
