Method Summary: A 100ml sample is distilled according to the requirements of product properties under specified instruments and test conditions. The temperature reading and condensate volume are systematically observed, and the measurement results are calculated from these data. Instrument 2.1 Petroleum Product Distillation Range Tester: Comply with the provisions of GB 515 "Technical Conditions for Petroleum Product Distillation Range Measuring Devices" 2.2 Stop watch. 2.3 Blowtorch or electric furnace with autotransformer. 2. When there is a lack of ice or snow, the acceptance test can be replaced with cold water according to 3.4 of this method. When conducting arbitration tests, ice or snow must be used. When distilling solvent sleeves, jet fuels, coal sleeves, and other petroleum products, rubber pipes should be installed on the inlet and outlet branch pipes of the condenser, allowing cold water to flow through the inlet branch pipe 3 to the water stop, and then flow away through the drainage branch pipe. The temperature of the outflow water should be adjusted to not exceed 30 ℃. In case of dispute, the temperature of the measured sample should be consistent with the accepted temperature. 3.7 Insert a cork plug with thermometer 7 tightly into the mouth of the distillation flask containing the sample, so that the axis lines of the thermometer and distillation flask coincide with each other, and make the upper edge of the mercury ball and the lower edge of the branch pipe welding in the same plane. a. 8. The bottom of the measuring cylinder should be pressed with metal weights to prevent the cylinder from floating.
