Liquid profile control agent testing

This standard specifies the evaluation method for the performance of commonly used profile control agents in oil fields. This standard is applicable to the indoor evaluation of the performance of liquid profile control agents such as gel type, gel type, resin type and precipitation type, and solid profile control agents such as water swelling type, particle dispersion type and particle drift consolidation type. GB10238-1998 Oil Well Cement sY/T 5336-1996 Conventional Core Analysis Method 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this standard. 3.1 Gel type profile control agent gcl type profile control agent from polymer solution is a profile control agent that uses gel as a sealing material, mainly composed of polymers and crosslinking agents. 3.2 gel type profile control agent from sol takes gel as the profile control agent of plugging material, and its main components are main agent and activator. 3.3 Resin type profile control agent Risin type profile control agent uses resin ester as a blocking agent for profile control. 3.4 Precipitation type profile control agent is a profile control agent that uses precipitation as a blocking material. 3.5 Water Swellable Particle Type Profile Control Agent is a profile control agent that uses water swelling as a sealing material. Generally, it is a solid particle made by monomer polymerization or polymer cross-linking, which is formed by granulation, drying, crushing, and screening, and expands in contact with water but does not dissolve. 3.6 Granula dispersant type profile control agent is a profile control agent that uses solid particles as plugging substances. Generally, inorganic or organic particles are suspended in water or other carriers to form a suspension, which is used to seal high permeability or fractured formations
