1.1 Scope This standard applies to tubular fluorescent lamps and other gas discharge lamps (self ballasted lamps) that integrate control start and stable ignition components for household and similar cooperative general lighting purposes. This standard specifies safety and interchangeability requirements for this type of lamp, as well as test methods and conditions for checking its conformity. The scope of application is as follows: - Rated power not exceeding 60 W; -- Rated voltage 100 V -250 V—— Edison screw or bayonet lamp holder. The requirements of this standard only involve type testing.
