Article 5.7.2 of GB/T24908 stipulates that "the luminous flux maintenance rate of a lamp should not be less than 92% at a ignition point of 3000 hours; the luminous flux maintenance rate should not be less than 88% at a ignition point of 6000 hours; and the luminous flux maintenance rate should not be less than 70% at a rated lifespan of 70% at a ignition point of 70%."

The Energy Star standard requires that the luminous flux maintenance rate of non-standard lamps, all directional lamps, and directional lamps should be greater than or equal to 70% at a ignition point of 25000 hours. To shorten the verification time, the average luminous flux maintenance rate should be greater than or equal to 91.8% of the assessment point when the ignition point is increased by 6000h. And for lamps with a power greater than or equal to 10W, the ignition point is required to be in a high temperature environment of 45 ℃. For decorative lamps, at a normal test temperature of 25 ℃, it is required that the luminous flux maintenance rate be greater than or equal to 70% when ignited for 15000h, and the average luminous flux maintenance rate be assessed for 6000h (greater than or equal to 86.7%). In Article 8 "Luminous flux maintenance rate test and life claim", it is also stipulated that if the claimed life is longer (non standard lamps, all directional lamps, and directional lamps claim a life greater than 25000 hours, and decorative lamps claim a life greater than 15000 hours), the luminous flux maintenance rate is required to be increased
