The main function of the roadbed is to provide necessary conditions for the laying of tracks or road surfaces, as well as for the operation of trains or vehicles, and to withstand the static and dynamic loads of tracks, locomotives, vehicles, or road surfaces and traffic loads, while transmitting and diffusing the load deep into the foundation. Protection

Protection of filling and excavation

The roadbed in this section is mainly filled with soil, and there are few excavated sections. The height of both filling and excavation should not exceed 8m. When the filling height H ≤ 3m, spraying and planting grass should be used for protection; When the filling height is 3m ≤ thickness ≤ 5m, three-dimensional mesh grass planting protection is adopted; When the filling height H> At 5m, it has been verified that they are all sections of the pond, and the pond roadbed protection is used. When the roadbed is in the pond section, the slopes below the constant water level+0.5m are protected with mortar rubble, and the slopes above the constant water level+0.5m are protected with hollow bricks and grass planting. Before the roadbed construction, a temporary cofferdam with woven bags is set up. The excavation slope is protected by spraying and planting grass, and side ditches and slope protection are set at the edge of the road shoulder

Pond slope protection

The rainwater discharge in this section adopts a combination of pipelines and open ditch drainage. The pond section is a water storage landscape area, and the slope protection adopts three-dimensional drainage ecological slope protection. The slope with a design elevation of Hs-2.1m above the road centerline adopts hollow brick grass planting protection, and the slope below Hs-2.1m adopts three-dimensional drainage flexible ecological protection

Retaining Wall Protection

The section of the Sunjiazui Bridge on the Han'e Expressway that passes underneath is designed separately for the longitudinal sections of the motor vehicle lane and non motor vehicle lane. The maximum height difference between the auxiliary road's motor vehicle lane and non motor vehicle lane is 1.5m. For the safety of non motor vehicles and pedestrians, a cantilever retaining wall protection is installed in this section, and a protective rod is set at the top of the retaining wall. The cantilever shoulder retaining wall is set at a height difference of ≥ 0.8m, and when it is less than 0.8m, special stone support is used. The cantilever retaining wall adopts C30 reinforced cement concrete, and the specially designed measuring stone adopts C30 cement concrete. The bearing capacity of the foundation at the bottom of the cantilever retaining wall should be greater than the minimum foundation stress of the retaining wall, otherwise graded crushed stone cushion must be used for replacement and compaction treatment. The burial depth of the retaining wall is generally 1.0m, and an expansion joint is set approximately 10m along the longitudinal direction of the retaining wall, with a width of 0.02m. The entire section is filled with oil immersed sugarcane board. The retaining wall is set with drainage holes every 1.0m along the road at a height of 0.3m from the ground, with a diameter of 5cm. A geotextile filter layer is installed on the back of the wall to prevent the drainage holes from silting up and the leakage and loss of roadbed fillers. The setting of drainage holes should not expose the adjacent steel bars. The outer surface of the cantilever retaining wall on the main line and ramp section is decorated with stone veneer, and protective tie rods are set at the top of the retaining wall. When constructing the retaining wall, attention should be paid to embedding anti-collision guardrail steel bars. The guardrail form of the retaining wall should be consistent with the pedestrian railing of small and medium-sized bridges.
