Composite geomembrane is widely used in canal anti-seepage engineering. In recent years, the extensive application and effectiveness of geosynthetics in civil engineering, especially in flood control and emergency engineering, have attracted high attention from engineering and technical personnel. For the application technology of geosynthetics, the country has put forward standardized technical requirements from aspects such as anti-seepage, filtration, drainage, reinforcement, and protection, greatly accelerating the promotion and application of new materials. This material has been widely used in canal anti-seepage engineering in irrigation areas. Based on construction practice, this article discusses the application technology of composite geomembrane. Nominal thickness, average thickness, thickness limit deviation, notch, fracture, crack, delamination, perforation repair point, water mark and mechanical scratch, crystal point, rigid block and impurity, bubble, rough facial mask appearance, density, tensile yield strength (longitudinal and transverse), tensile breaking strength (longitudinal and transverse), yield elongation (longitudinal and transverse), breaking elongation (longitudinal and transverse), right angle tear load (longitudinal and transverse) Puncture resistance, carbon black content, carbon black dispersibility, atmospheric oxidation induction time (OIT), low-temperature impact embrittlement performance, water vapor permeability coefficient, and dimensional stability. Construction matters (1) The use must be embedded: the coverage thickness should not be less than 30cm. (2) The renovation anti-seepage system should consist of a cushion layer, anti-seepage layer, transition layer, and protective layer. (3) The soil should be solid to avoid uneven settlement and cracks. Grass and tree roots within the anti-seepage range should be removed. Lay sand or clay with small particle size on the contact surface with the membrane as a protective layer. (4) When laying, the geomembrane should not be pulled too tightly. It is better for the parts buried in the soil at both ends to be corrugated, especially when anchoring with rigid materials, a certain amount of expansion and contraction should be left. (5) During construction, stones and heavy objects should be avoided from directly hitting the geomembrane. It is best to construct while laying the membrane and covering the protective layer
