Children's clothing, abbreviated as children's clothing, is suitable for children to wear. The mandatory national standard GB18401-2003 "Basic Safety Technical Specifications for National Textile Products" is the most basic requirement proposed to ensure that textile products are harmless to human health. It assesses 5 indicators and 9 items, including formaldehyde, pH value, color fastness (water resistance, sweat resistance, friction resistance, saliva resistance), odor, and decomposable aromatic amine dyes. The clothing classification standard divides products into three categories: Class A: infant and toddler products, with a formaldehyde content of ≤ 20mg/kg; Class B: Products that come into direct contact with the skin, with a formaldehyde content of ≤ 75mg/kg; Class C: Products that do not come into direct contact with the skin, with a formaldehyde content of ≤ 300mg/kg. The pH value of Class A and Class B products is allowed to be in the range of 4.0-7.5, while the pH value of Class C products is allowed to be in the range of 4.0-9.0. Class A infant and toddler products, with a color fastness requirement of ≥ 3-4 levels to water and sweat stains, and a color fastness requirement of ≥ 4 levels to dry friction and saliva; The color fastness to water, sweat, and dry friction of Class B and C products is required to be ≥ Level 3. All Class 3 products are required to have no odor, and the use of fabrics that decompose into aromatic amine dyes under reducing conditions is prohibited. Children's clothing products generally use woven and knitted fabrics, and the finished products are selected according to the corresponding standards based on the fabric performance, because the assessment indicators for different standards of fabrics are different
