Megger is a commonly used measuring instrument for electricians. Most of them use manual generators for power supply, so it is also known as a tramegger, and the scale is measured in megaohms (M Ω). Mainly used to check the insulation resistance of electrical equipment, household appliances, or electrical circuits to ground and between phases, in order to ensure that these equipment, appliances, and circuits are working normally and avoid accidents such as electric shock injuries and equipment damage. The working principle is that the DC high voltage generated by the internal battery as the power source is converted by DC/DC, which flows from the E-pole to the L-pole through the tested object, generating a current from the E-pole to the L-pole.
