1. Magnetron method:

1) Test between the filament terminals of the magnetron, and the resistance value should be less than 1 Ω 2) When testing between any filament terminal and the magnetron (ground), the resistance value should be infinite; If the resistance is small or zero, the magnetron should be replaced

2. High voltage transformer method:

Test three windings:

1) Primary winding, approximately 1.45 Ω 2) Secondary winding, approximately 112 Ω

3) Filament winding, less than 1 Ω

3. High voltage capacitor method:

1) The measuring instrument needs to be set in the highest resistance range

2) Normal phenomenon:

a. Test the two terminals of the capacitor, and within a short period of time (actual jump), it shows continuity. Then, the resistance after charging is approximately 10M Ω B. The resistance between the terminal and the casing should be infinite

3) Abnormal phenomenon:

a. The short-circuit capacitor is always on B. Open circuit capacitors always display a resistance value of approximately 10M Ω due to their internal resistance of 10M Ω When the internal wiring in the high-voltage capacitor is open, an infinite resistance will be displayed

4. High voltage diode (also known as unidirectional diode or high-voltage rectifier component) Method:

1) Set the instrument to the highest resistance range (note: the battery of the measuring instrument must also have a voltage of at least 6V, otherwise infinite resistance will be displayed in both directions)

2) Normal resistance is infinite in one direction and greater than 100k Ω in the other direction

5. Bidirectional diode (also known as protective diode) method:

1) Set the instrument to the highest resistance range 2) Disconnect the wire and separate the protective diode from the circuit The normal phenomenon should be to test both ends of the protective diode from both directions, with infinite resistance values. If it is damaged, it will exhibit continuity in one or both directions

6. If the microwave oven operates normally without heating, there are two possible causes:

1) It is an internal breakdown of the magnetron, causing a high-voltage short circuit to burn out the high-voltage diode. This situation requires replacing the magnetron, with a high-voltage fuse of 0.75A and 5000V
